Kamianets Podilsky (Кам’янець- Подільський) – is a city in Khmelnytsky oblast, situated in about 100 km south of Khmelnytsky, 80 km northeast of Chernivtsi, 160 km southeast of Ternopil.
Oficially Kamianets dates back to 12th century. Some parts of it, though, are believed to be witnesses of the Roman Empire. As an example – the bridge in front of the castle.
The castle is in a good condition, it’s not ruined. Some parts of it are being rennovated to make it look even better. The castle and the old town are real tourist attractions. Accomodation can be found as to any demand.
