Zolochiv is a regional centre of Lviv oblast. It is situated half way Ternopil-Lviv, or Lviv-Ternopil 
The castle in Zolochiv belongs to the so called “castles of the golden horse shoe”. As a rule, tourists also visit Pidhirzi and Olesko. The castle was built in XVIIcentury.
